About Us

The Region is one of 16 in the UK and now has approximately 50 members.

The Northern Region covers Golf Club managers from Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, Durham, North Yorkshire and Cumbria.

The Region was established initiatly as part of the Association of Golf Club Secretaries to give serving and retired members a vehicle to express their opinions and to provide a link with the ASGC (now GCMA) Head Office in Bristol & Clifton Golf Club. This new website is designed to provide members with up to date information on topical matters and to provide details of up coming events. The regional committee members are Frank Fensom, Chairman (Cleveland GC), Paul Whittaker Captain (Tynemouth GC),          
Steve Watkin (Past Captain), Andy Hill (Vice Captain) Mike Robinson, and Peter Jobe (Regional Manager).
