Welcome to the GCMA Northern Region

The Northern Region of the Golf Club Managers' Association represents Clubs in Northumberland, Tyne & Wear,Cumbria,Durham together with our friends from North Yorkshire . 

We currently have almost 50 members representing 45 clubs.

We are an active region and hold several business meetings per year ( AGM, Spring, Summer, Autumn.) which are very business focussed with presentations and discussion with guest speakers and open forums. 

Members can invite Club Officials or Staff to our meetings.

We play an annual match against Yorkshire & Scotland.  These are very competitive but extremely friendly and the networking opportunities and friendships gained by meeting others is immeasurable. 

As a GCMA Member you can join any Region you wish and many Members belong to more than one.  If you would like to join us at the Northern Regional Manager-Mr Peter Jobe.

Our Captain for 2022/23 is Mr Paul Whittaker, Manager at TynemouthGolf Club.
